what is art? apa itu art? okay. as we all know art in American is a skill or ability. also known as the making or doing of something whose purpose is to bring pleasure to people through their enjoyment of what is beautiful and interesting, or things often made of this purpose, such as paintings, drawings or sculptures.

drawing, sketching, painting. ini adalah 3 kategori art yang paling saya suka. Kenapa art? When I draw something, I try to build some kind of history into it. It is not what you see, but what you make others see. Melalui art boleh wujudnya story telling, maksudnya kisah kehidupan seseorang

 boleh digambarkan melalui lukisan. Saya mula minat pada art ni ketika lepas spm. Masa 3 bulan cuti 

saya adalah penganggur geseran heheheh. maka terbitlah istilah art dalam pemikiran saya. Pada awalnya saya hanya belajar sketch untuk saja saja, have fun. then saya teruskan dengan belajar details lagi tentang art tanpa guru physical bererti hanya berguru dengan media sosial. Daripada situ saya berhasrat untuk sambung ambil jurusan seni peringkat degree tapi tidak kesampaian. Jadi saya jadikan ini sebagai part time bila ada cuti panjang, saya akan ambil order untuk melukis. hehehehe part time yang berjaya kot .

so next let me shared a few stories abt art:

 First is from Corita Kent. She said creativity belongs to the artist in each of us. To create means to relate.The root meaning of the word art is "to fit together" and we all do this everyday. Not all of us are painters but we are all artists. Each time we fit things together we are creating- whether it is to make a loaf of bread, a child, a day. 

Second is from Steve Jobs. He said your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Dont settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Dont settle. 

Third is from Pablo Picasso. He said we all know tht art is not truth. Art is a lie tht makes us realize truth, at least the truth tht is given us to understand. The artist must know the manner whereby to convice others of the thruthfulness of his lies. If he only shows in his work tht he has searched, and researched, for the way to put over lies, he would never accomplish anything. 

Last is from Natalie Goldberg. She said when you draw and pay attention to what is, its a form a being present. This inspires the mind, makes it happy, and the heart wants to express more.
